There is something about October that rekindles the creative flow for me. It’s the perfect time after the harvest (both real and spiritual) and before the soft dormancy of winter.
So, in the spirit of Octobers and colorful leaves, I started my Youtube channel and joined authortube. My goal is to complete the first draft of my contemporary romance novel, Project Bell, by the end of November. The channel will include other writing and poetry-focused videos while I edit Project Bell for the rest of 2024.
I used to be scared of putting myself out there, and in some ways, I still am. But instead of being a nervous rabbit running for their burrow, I will hang out and watch the leaves fall. Maybe nibble on a dandelion leaf or something. Oh, and write a book.
